Platform Feature
Field-Ready Mobile App
Your enumerators collect data with or without a signal — the platform handles the rest.
Why it matters for institutional data
Field programmes in India operate in remote villages, forested blocks, and low-connectivity districts where a reliable connection cannot be guaranteed. The Quneiform mobile app is built for exactly this reality: survey schemas are cached on the device, submissions are queued locally, and everything syncs automatically the moment connectivity returns. Your data operation never stops because the network did.
Key Capabilities
Local Submission Queue
Completed surveys are written to a local queue on the device. The app tracks exactly how many submissions are pending and retries automatically on each reconnect — no data is lost on a mid-submission connectivity drop.
Cached Survey Schemas
The full survey definition — fields, skip logic, validations, and language labels — is cached on the device at first load. Enumerators can open, fill, and submit surveys in flight, underground, or in areas with no signal.
Transparent Sync Status
A persistent sync indicator shows the enumerator exactly how many submissions are queued and confirms successful upload. Supervisors on the web platform see submissions appear in real time as connectivity is restored.
Common Questions
What happens if the enumerator closes the app mid-submission?
Draft submissions are preserved in local storage. The enumerator can reopen the app, continue where they left off, and submit when connectivity is available. No data entry is lost between app sessions.
Does the mobile app support the full Quneiform feature set?
Yes. Skip logic, conditional field visibility, multilingual question labels, voice input, and field validations all run locally on the device — no server round-trip required. The full survey experience is identical whether the device has a signal or not.
